Sometimes, We all get stuck with the question of how often we are supposed to water our house plant or how often we need to water our cannabis plant. A lot of cannabis planters get bothered by this and most of the time think the major component in raising cannabis as a cannabis planter is the watering of the plant. As it is commonly said that water is life, I believe strongly that plants should be watered regularly and adequately, no cannabis planter should joke with proper watering of their plants. However, beyond the question of how often you are supposed to water your cannabis plant. As that will mainly depend on your growing environment as there is no set structure to water your cannabis plants or the best time to water your plant. The most important things to consider or pay attention to as cannabis planters are factors that affect cannabis watering.
- Medium: This has to do with substrate because that is where the root will be growing, and that is depending on your preferred mix if the soil mix can hold more or less water. This depends on the content of your soil mix as a cannabis planter some mix components aid quick evaporation such as perlite which will, in turn, cause the water to get over faster, and on the other hand, is coco fiber that can make water take long before evaporation.
- The Size of the Pot: The size of your cannabis pots as a cannabis planter as well contributes to the effect of water on your cannabis sometimes when the plant outgrows the pot with which it is situated it affects its ability to hold enough water for the plants and when you have bigger pot size it gives room for adequate watering only if the cannabis is at seedling stage no matter how big the pot is you don’t want to over water the plant.
- Environmental Condition: This is a major factor that influences how often we should water our plants and every cannabis planter must pay attention to this as environmental conditions play a vital role in how our plants grow either indoor planting or outdoor planting. When the humidity level is high it takes longer for water to evaporate while when it is too low water evaporate faster. Paying attention to all of these details as a cannabis planter will help us monitor our plants properly and ensure adequate growth of each of our plants.
